By practicing a first principles approach to changing technology, Chris has covered a wide range of topics, including SaaS applications, analytics, Machine Learning, operating systems, and networking hardware and software. He has extensive experience managing global teams in India, Latin America, and Eastern Europe.
A Silicon Valley native, Chris has a Master of Science from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a dual degree in Math and Computer Science from Santa Clara University. Initial roles in the operating system and networking world led to development, management, and product management roles at First Virtual, Cisco, and Edgewater Networks, with a notable success in First Virtual’s IPO.
Pivoting to the SaaS world, Chris led core applications development for Coupa as the company grew 10x and went public. At Betterworks, Chris rebuilt the team, which led to a pivot to Enterprise Performance management, leveraging a global approach and innovation in data and Machine Learning. At Mineral, a B2B2C company in the HR space, Chris built a global team that delivered significant revenue growth and innovated in data and LLM technologies, resulting in the successful acquisition of Mineral by Mitratech.
