Mark Soloway is the Senior VP of Operations at SafeinHome. He manages HR, IT, billing functions, account management, product and service requirements for Engineering, and all the service offering and teams. Since he joined, SafeinHome has grown from 10 employees to over 150 employees in five years. He is executing a vision to enable access to independent living for all who are challenged.
Mark was formerly a California Licensed Professional Fiduciary and concurrently provides operations, HR, IT, and financial consulting for Soloway Fiduciaries, a non-institutional trust and estate management corporation. He previously served as the CTO of Versaic where he was the Chairman of the Board of Directors, taking Versaic through a successful acquisition while obtaining four patents. Prior to Versaic, Mark was the VP of Engineering and Products at Log Savvy Corporation, a business intelligence analytics startup in Berkeley, California, that was selected to the Red Herring 100 during his time there. Previous to Log Savvy, Mark was Director of Software Development at FrontRange Solutions (Goldmine Enterprise Edition CRM and ITSM, acquired by Ivanti) where he led a team of over 50 developers spread across three continents. As the Chief Server Architect, the Director of Server Technology, and a Principal Engineer at Actuate Corporation (business intelligence, acquired by OpenText), Mark helped the company through an IPO and beyond.
Throughout his technology career of over 30 years, Mark was also a software engineer at Sun Microsystems (acquired by Oracle), Fairchild/Schlumberger, and FMC/Valisys (manufacturing automation), as well as Director of Software Development at Dawn Technologies (technical CAD). After earning his Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with high honors at the University of California, Berkeley, Mark earned his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University and his Master of Business Administration online through American Intercontinental University while working full-time.
